Week 14 Recap
Well, our 3-week win streak comes to an end with a disappointing 0.2u loss. Obviously, that is not a big deal, but it is never fun to lose money. Had the stupid Vikings found a way to score more than 3 points we would have had a nice profit, but that’s the way the cookie crumbles some times.
Spread bets were the real loser this week with -1.7u, followed by totals that cost us 0.54u and props that lost 0.24u. On the flipside, we had a 0.94 profit on teasers and 1.4u of profit on parlays.
I am unhappy with how spread bets have performed this year. They have certainly gotten better throughout the season, but they are still far from where they need to be. That also holds for parlays as well.
We have a few more weeks left of the season to keep chipping away at our losses so let’s get back to positive territory!
On the futures front - we have a bunch of futures that are just about to be graded but, funny enough, every single one went in a way that kept us from winning or losing this past week.

Other bets:
I do want to grab one teaser just in case lines move
1u 7.5pt teaser - Lions +3.5 / Bears +10.5 / Jaguars +10.5 (+113)
Yes, I am committing the grave sin of teasing through the zero on the Lions game, but I have some reasons I am okay doing that an a lot of it is that it brings me through a bunch of key numbers. Yes, I am losing some value doing it and it is not something you should do often. That said, this is my action and if you do not want to tail it, that is fine with me!
