PGA - Waste Management Phoenix Open
I was asked by a couple readers to flip the order of the my weekly PGA newsletter so I have so you will see this week’s picks will be on top and my recap from the prior week is below
Waste Management Phoenix Open
The party in the desert!!! This is one of the most fun tournaments on the schedule so I hope we can have better week. Joe House, of the Fairway Rollin’ podcast, called refered to this as “The Wasted”. This week we have a really strong field and I expect one of the big names to win it.
As always, I am using BetOnline and Bovada to pull these odds that are live at the time of publication.
I am going with ~5.6 units of total risk this week
To win:
0.5u Justin Thomas +1200
0.25u on Hovland +1600
0.25u on Brooks +3500
0.25u on Oosthuizen +4000
Top 10
0.5u on Justin Thomas +135
0.25u on Brooks +315
0.25u on Scheffler +300

1.5u on Justin Thomas -150
0.625u on Berger -125
0.55u on Hovland -110

0.25u Joel Dahmen +400
AT&T Pebble Beach - Recap
Unreal. Overall we lost 2.5u this week, which is not great, but not bad at all. That said it has been two weeks in a row it seems like we are poised to have a huge week only to have our golfer(s) fall apart down the stretch.
As I jokingly said on Twitter, if only this tournament was 36 holes!!! After two rounds we had Power had a multi stroke league and Jason Day was in the top 5. They both crashed an burned. Note Berger dropped out with injury prior the tournament so that bet got canceled so I am not including it on our sheet.
One thing to note is that there was a hedge opportunity on Saturday morning that I considered, but I decided against it because we only have 0.25u risked. This hedge was Power vs The Field at -120. I may look into this in the future.
