Omega European Masters - Recap
We expanded our DP World tour betting last week and it worked out brilliantly! While we were not able to find the winner, we did score nicely with T10 and T20 bets.
Horizon Irish Open
The DP World Tour goes from the Swiss Alps to Straffan, Ireland. The players will be faced with the test of the Kildare Hotel and Golf Club’s Arnold Palmer-designed North Course which hosts its second Irish Open and will play to a par 72 across 7,350 yards.
The 2022 Irish Open saw Adrian Meronk (35-1 odds) shot -20 to win his first professional golf tournament when he beat Ryan Fox (25-1) by 3 strokes at Mount Juliet. The 2021 edition saw Lucas Herbert (30-1 odds) shoot -19 and top Rikard Karlberg at Mount Juliet by 3 strokes, and the 2019 edition saw John Catlin (-10) win as a 40-1 shot beating Aaron Rai (35-1) by 2 strokes at Galgorm Castle.
As I mentioned above, this is the 2nd playing of the Irish Open at the K Club. The first time it was contested here was in 2016 when overwhelming tournament favorite Rory McIlroy (4-1) shot -12 and beat both Bradley Dredge (80-1) and Russell Knox (25-1) by 3 strokes.
Thankfully we have a few more big names here this week so we have a bit more fun in the handicapping. Rory is back and is an astounding 7-2 in odds and I can’t bring myself to bet that so here are my tickets for 5.95u of risk:

As always, I am using BetOnline and Bovada to pull these odds. I bet them as I write this so they are live within the 45 min or so of publication.
Good luck with all your action!
Thomas Detry and Tyrrell Hatton are the ones I am targeting for my parlays this week
