Hola!!
I always like to make sure folks have the right expectations for my content so here is a quick programming note for the next 2 weeks:
8/28 (Today) - DP World Tour picks for Omega European Masters
8/29 (Tomorrow) - NFL Preview and Futures - Half of this will be paywalled for those who financially support this substack
8/30 (Wednesday) - PGA Tour mini-recap - You will see my weekly recap below is pretty small, but that is because I have my wrap-around season recap coming later this week!
8/31 (Thursday) - NFL Preview and Futures - EDIT NOTE- This will now be unlocked for everyone at 8pm on 8/30!!
9/4 (Monday) - DP World Tour picks for the Horizon Irish Open
9/6 or 9/7 (Wednesday or Thursday) - NFL Thursday Night Football pick
9/8 or 9/9 (Friday or Saturday) - NFL Week 1 picks
As you can see in the above and as I have started to do the last few weeks, my plan is to cover the DP World Tour at least through the end of 2023. The reason for that is that the new fall schedule will likely not have a large number of top players while many of the PGA Tour’s best players actually play on the DP Tour during the fall (especially the European players) so I wanted to have some fun!1
Hope that makes sense to you all and if you have any questions just reply to this email, email me directly, or DM me on Twitter!
Last week - Mini-Recap
Boy, what a season it was, and what a freaking ending. Xander did all he could but Vik kept up his insane from Chicago and cantered to a big check on Sunday. That said, Xander’s efforts were enough to get us a 72-hole score win!
We also took 1.375u worth of shots at the Czech Masters and while Hojgaard was in the mix the entire time he was unable to get home for us and settled for solo 3rd which left us with a total loss.
Omega European Masters
The DP World Tour goes from the Czech Republic to Crans-Montana, Switzerland. The players will be taking in AMAZING views as they play to a par 70 across the 6,825 yards of Crans-sur-Sierre Golf Club2.
The 2022 Omega Masters saw Thriston Lawrence (30-1 odds) beat Matt Wallace (40-1) in a playoff after both shot -18. The 2021 edition saw Rasmuch Hojgaard (40-1 odds) shoot -13 to capture the title when he topped co-favorite Bernd Wisberger (25-1) by 1 stroke, and the 2019 edition saw Sebastian Soderberg (-14) win a 5-man playoff over Lorenzo Gagli, Rory McIlroy, Andres Romero and Kalle Samooja.
Here are my tickets (about 5.65u of risk):

As always, I am using BetOnline and Bovada to pull these odds. I bet them as I write this so they are live within the 45 min or so of publication.
Good luck with all your action!
Something to note is that I am going to update my reporting to split out the PGA Tour from DP World Tour so you can see transparently how each is doing!
Seriously, it might be the prettiest views I have ever seen on a golf course
EDIT NOTE, there was a typo in the original post that said “Kimset” instead of “Kimsey”
